A pitch-in meal followed by a yearly planning event is held on a Sunday in January.  Non-members yet regular attenders are welcome to attend.

A high point of the year, the week before Easter begins with a special worship on Palm Sunday morning, on Maundy Thursday evening, on Good Friday at Noon and evening,  The congregation holds a 24-hour prayer vigil on the Saturday before Easter.  Easter marks our participation in the community sunrise cantata at the First United Methodist Church which is sponsored by the ministerial association.  Our Easter worship is marked by a special retelling of the resurrection!

An annual fund-raiser for the Christian Women’s Fellowship is held in mid-March every year.  The menu always includes copious salads, farm-style cooked vegetables, chicken pies, ham, and of course desserts, particularly pies!  Yum!  Yum!

The Morning Glories Circle of the Christian Women’s Fellowship holds a party for the residents of the Sheridan Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in early February every year.

This outreach to the community is designed to acquaint everyone with a risen Christ and a story of faith.  Typically this event is held the third or fourth week of July.  It begins on a Monday and ends on the following Friday.  While the attenders are from pre-school age through 6th grade, we are always in need of volunteers for snacks, crafters, greeters, assistants to leaders, and leaders.

We also need people to help supply the materials for this endeavor.

Chicken and Noodle Supper and Christmas Bazaar

This event is the fall version of the spring smorgasbord described above,,,only bigger and more festive!   The main course is your choice of either chicken or beef and noodles with mashed potatoes and several farm fresh vegetables.   Held at the same time is a Christmas craft bazaar.
